worry or know how not to

The future  looks uncertain, scary, hidden.we wouldn't be human if we didn't worry about things at times. We worry about our health, our parents/kids/friends,our relationships, our work and our spending... We worry that we're getting older, fatter, poorer, more tired, less attractive, less fit, less mentally alert, less everything really. We worry about things that matter and things that don't. Sometimes we worry about not worrying.
Look, sometimes it might be ok to "worry" so long there is something REALLY to worry about. What Jesus warned against is being overwhelmed with your worries which is anxiety. This is a total waste of time and energy for it is bereft of the ability to alleviate your worries,it is like chasing the wind.

It is truer than truth that we all worry about 1 thing or the other; Jesus wanted to extricate the cross if it was possible, but the desire, zeal and passion to do the will of the father overshadowed his worries.(mathew 26:36-46, luke 22:42).
What is healthy when you have legitimate cases to worry about is to take action in the right direction. First decide if there is something you can do about whatever it is you ar worrying about, or not. If there is nothing to do about it,then stop worrying, coz all you're doing is putting wrinkles in your brow, and that makes you look older;an example is worrying that you are ageing, you only end up in positive mystery. On the other hand, there are logical steps to take to eliminate that worry: if its about health,go see a doctor,if its about finance, set a budget,if its about your weight,go to the gym,eat less,if you're confused pray, if you worry about it all, PRAY! It is a colossal waste of time to worry when you don't take action. And if you worry that you worry, PRAY.
"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Philipians. 4 6-7 MSG
